What My Clients Say About Me

My partner and I were barely hearing each other anymore. Couples sessions taught us to slow down, listen properly, and speak honestly. We communicate better now than we ever have.

Your first session is a relaxed conversation about what brings you to therapy, what you hope will change, and how we can work together. There is no pressure to share everything at once — we go at a pace that feels right for you.
If something in your life feels stuck, heavy, or hard to face alone — persistent worry, low mood, relationship strain, or a major transition — therapy can help. A free introductory call is an easy way to find out whether working together feels right.
We talk through your background, current concerns, and goals, and I answer any questions about the process. By the end you will have a clear picture of a plan forward, including how often we might meet.
Most clients begin with weekly sessions, which builds momentum and trust. As things improve, many shift to every other week and then to occasional check-ins. We decide together based on your needs and progress.
Individual sessions run 50 minutes and couples sessions run 75 minutes. The first appointment can run slightly longer so we have time to cover everything comfortably.
Yes. Secure video sessions are available across Minnesota and in several other states, with the same structure and confidentiality as meeting in person. Many clients mix in-person and online sessions.
